| Boston Common Skating School
Whether young or old, beginner or advanced,
we have the skating program just for you. Director of Boston Common Skating School, Jackie Harris, has been a part of the skating community for more than 20 years. Growing up as competitive member of ISI and USFSA, Jackie stared skating singles at 4 years old. The past 20 plus years she has skated at local area clubs, trained across central Europe and in California, competed at the collegiate level in synchronized skating, and represented the US in national level and international competitions. One asset Jackie has brought along with her extensive skating background, is a degree from the University of New Hampshire in Kinesiology, concentrating in Sport Marketing and Management.
Jackie has been on the coaching staff at the Frog Pond for the past five years and is very excited to embark on a new project in developing the Boston Common Skating School. The school is geared to the Boston community and grassroots programs. Two key areas of this program are the ISI badge program and the Charter School Program.
Jackie and her staff are looking forward to welcoming the community to a fun and exciting season at the Frog Pond.
